Your numbers don't lie
Almost everything in life can be represented by a number. They're simple, transcend language, are universally understood and instantly applicable. And when it comes to measurement? Well, they're absolutely everything.
But with so many numbers to think about, which are the most important? That's a good question and the answer is different for everyone.
As with all things, there are probably a few key numbers we should all be keeping a close eye on, if we want the best life possible.

Why numbers?
If, like me, you prefer clarity then numbers give you a fast and easy way to cut through the confusion (or bulls**t) and get to the heart of the matter.
A very wise man once said to me "How many calls you have made this week?". I proceeded to tell him how busy I'd been when he cut across me and said "Simon, I don't need a story. I just need the number. When you tell me the number, I'll know the story".
Take your bank balance for example. You could tell me you're doing OK and of course I'd believe you. But if I look at your bank balance or that of your company, I can see exactly where you are.
Your now numbers will give you an honest assessment of where you are, and knowing your end numbers will allow you to understand the gap.
